Sunil Dhar joins Red Bull India as CEO after Bhaskar Sharma moves to Advisory Role

Sunil Dhar assumed the role of the new CEO for Red Bull India on January 1, 2024. He previously served as Vice President – Commercial, Red Bull India, and held the position of Officer Special Projects – MEWAP. Dhar has been associated with Red Bull for nearly 14 years. Prior to joining Red Bull, he was Vice President-Sales at Hershey and Vice President-Modern Trade at Mondelez.

Bhaskar Sharma, the former CEO, has transitioned to a non-executive advisory role within the company. Before joining Red Bull in 2009 as General Manager, Sharma had an extensive career at Unilever, where he held roles such as Marketing Director - Foods for Unilever Bestfoods, Managing Director, Unilever Taiwan Foods, and Vice President Marketing Operations Asia AMET.

It's worth noting that Dhar also boasts a more than 14-year tenure with Red Bull India. Before joining the company, he served as the VP - Sales at Hersheys India and had previous experience with Mondelez International.
