Star Sports and Snapchat have partnered to help supporters cheer for team India during the upcoming cricket matches. On using the Snapchat AR lens, your skin colour will change to Indian team’s blue!

Additionally the AR lens created by Snapchat for Star Sports India uses ‘Upper Body Skin Segmentation’ and ‘Volume Detection’ technologies that detect how loudly the Snapchatter is cheering for the Indian team, and the volume triggers the skin to turn blue!

Elaborating on the new lens, Prasanna Raman, Advertiser Solutions Lead - Snap Inc India said, “For Star Sports we wanted to utilize the best of AR technology to create a really unique and fun way for fans to share their support for the Indian team. Snapchatters will be able to unlock the lens on the days leading upto and the day of the first India game by simply opening Snapchat and clicking on the lens carousel.”
