Tata Sky's Vikram Mehra quits, to join Saregama as MD!

Vikram Mehra who headed Tata Sky as CCO for more than 10 years, has called it quits at the DTH company and is set to join Saregama.

The announcement was made by Saregama at the Bombay Stock Exchange and stated that Mehra will be joining Saregama in October 2014 as the Managing Director.

He joined Tata Sky back in 2004 as the CCO. Prior to that, he served as the VP at Star TV for 4 years. He started his career with Tata Consultancy Services as Senior Systems Analyst and later joined Tata Administrative Services as a Manager. He has also worked as Product Manager with TATA motors.

At Tata Sky he was responsible for Subscription Revenue Management, Churn Management, Brand Marketing, New Product Devt, Customer Analytics, Interactive Service Operations, Consumer Research and PR.

Mehra holds BE degree in Computer Science and Technology from IIT, Roorkee and further studied that IIM as well.
