Telegram introduces Voice Chat feature

Telegram have announced a new Voice Chat update for the instant messaging app. This new update will be similar to Discord where users can have a persistent conference call that they can join or leave according to their convenience. 

According to media reports, following this update, any Telegram group can be converted to a voice chat room. Voice messages can continue along with other text or multimedia messages. 

Along with the new Voice Chats feature, the latest update for Telegram brings in new updates for animated stickers which should improve loading times, support for SD card storage on Android devices, new animations on Android, improvements for the media editor, and support for more animated emoji.
