Television brings alive the passion of Valentines Day
It’s that time of the year when romance is in the air. The anxiously awaited Valentine’s Day dawns once again to evoke romantic sentiments and help strengthen the bond of love. Celebrated world over the festival of love has been increasing in popularity in India in the recent years. Individuals express their love for each other and reinstate their commitments towards one another. Theatres, hotels and restaurants are fully booked and gifts and flowers are exchanged in abundance on this special day. Television channels too are celebrating this festival of love like never before. Romantic shows and movies have been lined up to entertain the young and old alike on this day. India's one stop laughter destination, Comedy Central offers you a new line up of Rom-Com shows, new seasons and a whole lot of interactivity. The channel adds a potion of love and laughter beginning with ‘Rules of Engagement – Season 1 and 2’, back to back on Friday, February 14 from 11 AM to 10 PM, to ensure there is no dearth of love and laughter for its viewers on the special day. To double the dosage, Comedy Central’s weekend slot will adorn itself with two romantic comedy shows that have been enjoyed by the audience in the past – ‘Rules of Engagement’ and ‘King of Queen’, starting February 15, 2014 every Saturday – Sunday at 1 pm and 2 pm, respectively. Adding to the line-up, the channel will bring a comedy drama, ‘Perfect Couples’, starting February 24, 2014, Monday- Wednesday, at 10:30 PM. and a distinctive character called ‘Love Don’ will dispense quirky and comic advice, in true Comedy Central style, on love and relationship issues on February 13th & 14th 2014.
