Tuhin Kanti Ghosh, Past President of INS, passes away

Tuhin Kanti Ghosh, Past President of the Indian Newspaper Society (INS), passed away at his south Kolkata home on February 10, 2021. On behalf of INS, its current President L Adimoolam has condoled the passing away of Ghosh.

Remembering Ghosh, Adimoolam said, “Tuhin Kanti Ghosh was a well-known personality in print media industry. He had taken an active role in joining the Indian media to oppose the then ruling Government’s draconian laws that attempted to curb Press freedom.”

Adimoolam conveyed his heartfelt condolences to Ghosh’s family members and prayed that the Almighty grant them strength and courage to bear this irreparable loss.
