TV This Week| Star Plus back at Number 1

According to the recent BARC rating Saath Nibhaana Saathiya of Star Plus regained its position as the number 1 show again.

BARC India rolls out its week of individual viewership data of week 38 from September 19-25 2015. The recent data saws Star Plus rating go high and regaining its position at number 1 this week. Viacom18 Colors which had been number 1 for some weeks saw a decrease in the rating.  Zee TV retained its position at number 3 but saw an increase in the rating this week. Life OK and Sony Sab which came fourth and fifth respectively saw an increase in the rating this week.

At number 1 is Star Plus which saw an increase in viewership from 381 million GVTs last week to 409 million GVTs this week. Saath Nibhaana Saathiya and Diya aur baati became the most watched show on the channel.

Viacom18 Colors came on number 2 from 414 million GVTs last week to 380 million GVTs this week seeing a huge decline in the viewership. Sasural Simar Ka and Udaan became the most watched show on the channel.

Zee TV retained its position at number 3 but saw an increase in the viewership in comparison to last week. It viewership rose from 256 million last week to 272 million GVTs this week. Kumkum Bhagya remains the most watched show on this channel.

On the other hand Life OK which came on number 4 saw its viewership rise to 237 million GVTs this week from 221 million GVTs last week.

Coming on number 5 was Sab TV which also saw an increase in the viewership. Its viewership rose from 183 million GVTs last week to 190 million GVTs this week.
