TV This Week | Star takes the lead from the beginning of '15

It’s the beginning of 2015 and here we are with fresh starts from the Hindi GECs. All channels have seen a good amount of growth as compared to the last week. According to TAM data for week 01 (December 28- Jan 03) let’s take a look at who stands where.

From the first week itself Star Plus is the number one channel with a total viewership of 654 million GVTs as compared to last week’s 596 million GVTs.

Being consistent on the second spot is Colors which also gained viewership from 492 million GVTs in the last week to 520 million GVTs in the first week this year.

Maintaining its third spot is Zee TV which saw a marginal increase from 427 million GVTs to 430 million GVTs this week.

On the fourth spot is Life OK which gained viewership from 329 million GVTs last week to 338 million GVTs this week.

At the fifth spot is SAB which gained from 320 million GVTs to 335 million GVTs.

And finally we have Sony Entertainment Television which is at the sixth spot with 264 million GVTs this week against its 237 million GVTs last week. Indeed the channel has seen a good start to the New Year.

On the Premium Hindi GECs front we have Zindagi which slightly declined from 29 million GVTs last week to 28 million GVTs this week. Followed by Zindagi is Sony PAL which saw a marginal increase from 23 million GVTs last week to 26 million GVTs this week.
