United Airlines hands Global Media Mandate to Dentsu Aegis Network

Following a review, United Airlines appoints holding company Dentsu Aegis Network as its Media Agency of Record. According to media reports, Carat will run media planning and buying on the account, with Merkle handling targeted marketing and 360i running social media. The airline’s creative agency of record is Dentsu-owned mcgarrybowen, which retained the account in 2016 after a closed review.

WPP's Wunderman that previously handled the airline's media duties will be retained on its roster, however, it is not known what part of the airlines business they will manage.
