Vishal Chaddha quits as CEO – Internet Businesses, HT Media

Vishal Chaddha, CEO – Internet Businesses, HT Media Ltd, has put down his papers to pursue other opportunities. Industry souces have confirmed the development to Adgully and informed that Chaddha would be venturing into the angel investor and mentoring space. He has been making investments in various companies over the last few years and plans to be an active mentor to some of those companies. 

Chaddha had joined HT Media in 2012 as Business Head - Advertising Sales, and was later elevated to Chief Revenue Officer – Internet Businesses in January 2016 and then to CEO – Internet Businesses in November 2016. He has been responsible for HT Media’s ventures in Internet & Mobile- Shine.com, Digital Quotient and HT Mobile Solutions. These companies operate in the Jobs Classified, AdTech/ MarTech and Digital & Mobile marketing space. 

He started his career with Coca-Cola India, where he spent a decade in a variety of roles across Sales and General Management with P&L responsibilities. In his last assignment with Coca-Cola, he was Head of Innovation & New Categories for the Indian Sub-continent. 

He has over 20 years of experience in Media & Entertainment, FMCG & Financial Services and is a management alumni of IIM Calcutta.
