Vishal Desai heads to Colors as Associate Director- Marketing

Desai confirmed the news to Adgully. Its is reportedly believed that Desai will report to Rajesh Iyer, Associate Vice President, Marketing, Colors.

In his stint at the channel- Times Now, Desai worked as the Senior Manager-Marketing.

At the channel Desai was responsible for fueling the channel's growth efforts through focused and result driven consumer marketing campaigns, enhance brand image, build strategic alliances and explore alternate revenue generating sources.

He was also instrumental in conceptualising, Planning and Implementation of consumer activation campaigns to increase visibility and viewership. Desai joined Times Now in April 2005, prior to which he worked as n Assistant Manager ' Mergers & Acquisitions Cell, Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. He has over 12 years of experience in the media industry.
