Vogo’s #GoSafe Campaign Inspires 3.5 Lakh People to Get Vaccinated

Putting consumer safety at the forefront, Vogo, India’s leading two-wheeler rental company decided to take a ‘punny’ turn with their #GoSafe campaign. The company pulled off a maverick marketing stunt by donning 1000+ Vogo scooters in Bangalore and Hyderabad with stickers that would remind people to get vaccinated, in their own quirky way. With puns like ‘shot happens’, ‘holy shot’ and ‘it’s my jab’, Vogo has chosen a light-hearted approach to deliver a crucial message amid all the uncertainty. These stickers were also promoted online by leading social media influencers like Rahul Subramanian, Gowtham Shravan KumarZaynab and Ashmitha in the form of an AR Insta filter with the hashtag #GetSetJab.

The campaign has been a resounding success, with the brand having inspired lakhs of people to get vaccinated. Over 3.5 lakh people engaged with the posts on Instagram and Facebook via comments and likes. To top it off, Vogo is also rewarding those uploading their vaccination certificates on their app with Vogo credits. Thousands of people in Bengaluru and Hyderabad have benefitted from this feature, with the company having given away free rides worth Rs. 3.3 lakhs.

(CMO), Vogo said, “We launched #GoSafe with the vision to lend a hand to the country’s vaccination drive. The idea was to help reduce vaccine hesitancy and motivate people, particularly youngsters, to go out and get the jab. Both the Instagram campaign and the scooter sticker campaign were targeted towards youth, in a lingo they understand best. We are stoked that our initiative has succeeded in encouraging lakhs of people to get vaccinated.”
