What's rjing without music, and what's music without dance? That's RJ Adaa. Radio City's very own style statement, RJ Adaa dishes out intimate details while she chats with Adgully.

Adaa started her career with an international radio station based in New Jersey. The show was called Radio Guru and was an online show. When she came to Mumbai they felt she was "masti material" and signed her.

Adaa explains that she would always experiment when it came to fashion. During her college days her friends would make fun of her off beat dressing style. The secret ingredient to carrying off her style is to wear your clothes with a smile. And the plus point to smiling is that you make other people happy.

With the start of the summer RJ Adaa's fashion advice would be to wear light coloured and soft cotton clothes that do not expose too much of our skin, because no one needs an unwanted tan.

Adaa believes in the phrase, "the show must go on." consequently on a hectic day Adaa's quick fix is music. Doing a live show can be very challenging but RJ Adaa simply loves it! Her most challenging interviews have been Anil Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan. This has according to Adaa has been, "the best time of her life."

We asked Adaa if she were not a radio jockey what would she be doing and her reply came in almost instantaneously ' teaching. Although, in the future Adaa sees herself achieving 70% of her dreams in voicing she still says, "kal ho na ho."

Passionate about dance RJ Adaa is also a choreographer. She loves contemporary music especially hip hop because of its dance style. Apart from dancing she her second love is traveling. The discovery of a new place excites her.

Young adults who look up to Adaa here's what she has to say to you, "Ask yourself if you want to be in radio or if you want to be an RJ" because the radio industry has a lot of opportunities but what you have to offer is what matters. | By Vanessa Azavedo [vanessa(at)adgully.com]
