Zee TV brings back Remo and Terence for DID; The duo along with Geeta to look for one who is 'Born to Dance'

When Talent meets a platform like Dance India Dance where Passion is honed to Perfection and Genius put through the Grind, you get the one who is "BORN TO DANCE'! India's most watched, most awaited and most iconic dance reality show, Dance India Dance (DID) returns on your television screens to make your Christmas and New Year a very special affair! The passion, the frenzy, the camaraderie, the rehearsals, the victories, the disappointments, the favorite hosts and judges and above all, the spectacular talent ' it's all back ' with a BANG! Zee TV announces the new season of a BIGGER, BETTER and more EXPLOSIVE Dance India Dance. DID 3 is all set to create a new benchmark in the field of dance and once again prove that it's the baap of all dance reality shows in India.

DID Season 1 and DID Season 2 changed the way how dance as an art form was perceived in India. It made superstars out of common people like ' Salman, Shakti, Dharmesh & Prince ' amongst many others. The stupendous success of DID ensured a deluge of dance reality shows on other channels but none could match the talent and versatility present on the platform of Dance India Dance. After a hiatus of almost two years the magical trio ' Geeta Kapoor, Remo D'Souza and Terence Lewis - who made Dance India Dance the biggest and the most prestigious dance reality show, are back on the show and this time, they are searching for a dancer who eats, lives and breathes dance.

There are two aspects of this competition that will make a participant come alive to the viewers this season: the sheer passion, dedication and talent of the participants will help the masters select those who are actually "Born to Dance' and the next level of rigorous training that our experts from around the world will put the participants through. At the beginning of the competition, the selected contestants will undergo further holistic training to bring out the best in them. Stalwarts of the stature of Alex Magno, an internationally choreographer and creative director with over 25 years of show business experience known for his work with Madonna, The Pussy Cat Dolls and Britney Spears. Lourd Vijay, Latin and Ballroom specialist and Haridas Ethafu, strength and flexibility trainer to name a few will conduct intensive workshops with the dancers to further hone their skills. In the earlier seasons, Dance India Dance made international dance forms like locking-popping, b-boying, salsa, cha cha cha, rumba, jive, contemporary, afro jazz and many more new forms of dance very popular among the youth. Taking It a step ahead, the new season will surely see some exotic and never before seen dance forms.

The mentors sounded extremely upbeat and raring to go when asked how they felt at the beginning of the all-new season of Dance India Dance. Terrence Lewis said, "I've traveled the world over in search of the most exotic dance forms and drawn great inspiration from beautiful traditional Indian styles too. I am looking forward to introduce never before seen dance forms this season. Let my work do the rest of the talking!"

Mentor Remo D'souza added, "The motto this season is very clear ' there is no place for mediocrity as even being the best in one dance form is not enough. The previous two seasons saw some scintillating performances but DID 3 is all set to raise the bar with the kind of talented dancers we have unearthed and also the training resources we have."

Geeta Kapoor quipped, "The challenge lies in surpassing the unthinkable. Even before the beginning of the new season, I tell myself 'The sky is the limit and the results should be jaw dropping! Let the music play, let the magic begin!"

Starting Saturday, 24th December at a new time slot of 8:30 PM on Zee TV, the show will follow a format in which 18 contestants will be divided into 3 teams led by the choreographers - Geeta Kapoor, Terence Lewis and Remo D Souza! Each episode will see the masters grooming their respective team members to the best of their potential and help them put their best dance foot forward on stage. The Masters will exercise their discretion in eliminating contestants till the Top 10, after which public voting takes over. It's a matter of great pride and honor for a Master to have the winning dancer from his team. DID 1 and DID 2 saw Salman Ghouse and Shakti Mohan from Master Remo D'Souza's and Master Terence Lewis's teams respectively winning the coveted Sunehri Taqdeer Ki Topi. This edition of Dance India Dance will be produced by FRAMES Production Company.
