Zomato extends ‘Shelter Project’ for delivery partners

Reaffirming its unwavering commitment to the well-being of delivery partners, Zomato Limited has inaugurated a new rest point in Seawoods, Mumbai. An extension of the “Shelter Project” and following the successful launch of similar facilities in Gurgaon and Bangalore, this represents Zomato’s effort of creating a supportive ecosystem for the entire gig economy and delivery partners of various companies.

The newly launched rest point, like the earlier rest points in Gurgaon and Bangalore, includes comfortable seating, charging points, washrooms, high-speed internet, helpdesk, first-aid support, free Wi-Fi, access to food options. The project's purposeful design offers dedicated spaces for delivery partners to rejuvenate and relax in between deliveries, fostering their physical and mental well-being.

Unveiled in collaboration with Seawoods Nexus Mall, Navi Mumbai, delivery partners across platforms inaugurated the facility, who were honored as the chief guests and were enthusiastically involved in the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The delivery partner resting point was inaugurated on the occasion of India’s 77th Independence Day.

Launched earlier this year, Zomato’s 'The Shelter Project,' is a groundbreaking initiative focused on creating a more supportive gig environment for delivery partners of various companies.
