Aaj Tak & Kent RO create historic roadblock for Ram Temple consecration

Covering the main muhurat for Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla in the Ayodhya Ram Temple on January 22, Kent RO System will have a 2-minute-long exclusive branding through a massive roadblock across all the assets of Aaj Tak, including digital.

The 84-second muhurat will begin at 12:29:08 hrs and will end at 12:30:32 hrs which is termed a divine design by astrologers.

The massive roadblock for an undisclosed amount is set to change the way the news channels sell their inventories.

“Kent RO's exclusive branding during pivotal moments will redefine the landscape of LIVE event coverage, strategically leveraging Aaj Tak's reach and viewership for an unforgettable spectacle,” the channel said in a statement.

This strategic roadblock will be extended across all India Today Group channels - India Today TV, GNT and AajTak HD along with Aaj Tak connected devices feed.

Speaking on the significant milestone in media planning innovation, Rahul Shaw, CEO, TVTN, said, "Our partnership with Kent RO aligns seamlessly with Aaj Tak's commitment to unparalleled mileage. This collaboration goes beyond traditional bounds, ensuring extensive reach and engagement, breaking new ground in media planning strategies."

“Kent RO stands for “Purity” and the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishta ceremony is the “most auspicious moment” for the brand to be associated with. We are truly happy to be a part of this momentous occasion,” said Mahesh Gupta, CMD Kent RO.

“We view this as the “most emotional experience” for Indian consumers and for Kent to create a deeper connection with the entire nation,” said Arshad Shawl, founder of Alliance Advertising, the media agency.

Additionally, Aaj Tak continued to build on the massive breakthrough achieved during the counting day of the assembly elections in four states where it sold above 1,100 L-bands on its live feeds on digital streams.

The sources at the channel told Adgully that brands picked up more than 3,000 L-bands on connected devices feed. The L-bands from over 70 brands have been running since 6 am on Monday.
