ABP News Network launches its Punjabi news channel, ABP Sanjha, in Canada

ABP News Network (ANN) has forayed into Canada with its Punjabi news channel, ABP Sanjha. The channel has been launched in partnership with Parvasi Media Group, one of the leading South Asian and Punjabi media groups in Canada.

ABP Sanjha’s programming lineup includes shows on Religion, Entertainment, profiling successful Punjabis, and Sports to even relevant Immigration regulations.

The reporting and programming on the channel also strongly embody and reflect the 3 pillars of ‘Punjabiyat’ – Josh, Jazba and Junoon. Every story on the channel, be it hard news or fun entertainment, will be covered and shown with the same energy, zeal and passion that underlines the way of life of every Punjabi.

Commenting on the launch, Avinash Pandey, COO, ABP News Network, said, “There has always been a very strong demand from the Punjabi community in Canada for a channel which not just informs them about their homeland, but rather connects them back to it. This was evident to us through the fact that ABP Sanjha was already very popular on the VoD platform. And now with ABP Sanjha available 24x7 on both cable and online platforms, we are confident that the Canadian Punjabi community will finally get the content it has always desired and deserved.”

ABP Sanjha is available in Canada on Bell Fibe TV (Channel No. 2329).

Led by Hindi News channel ABP News, ABP News Network offers a bouquet of regional channels – ABP Ananda (Bengal), ABP Majha (Maharashtra) and ABP Asmita (Gujarat).
