April Fool's Day gets a fitness twist with Cultfit's #cultHouseParty!

Cultfit, the leading fitness brand in India, today revealed that their highly popular social media campaign ‘#cultHouseParty’, which was trending over the last two weeks, was, in fact, a ‘prank with a purpose’ culminating on April’s Fool’s Day. The idea behind the campaign was to impress upon people that fitness and fun can go together and one’s fitness journey needn’t seem intimidating.
Cultfit launched this quirky campaign on March 15th, showing how Gopika, a fictional character, and her friends approached Cultfit to host a surprise house party to celebrate her 30th birthday. Ramping up the buzz, cult unveiled a houseparty launch video, inviting members to book their slots on the cultfit app. The video also showcased how these parties, with a health twist, offered a wide range of activities, from games, recreational activities, and dance-based workouts to yoga and strength training, where people could have fun without disrupting their fitness regime. Subsequently, there was a ‘recruitment post’ on social handles that called for trainers to join their creative crew to take these parties to the next level. Cut to 1st April, the prank reveals that the protagonist wakes up and realizes that it was all just a dream!
With star trainers like Shwetambari Shetty, Suvini Mehra, Spoorthi, Naveen Sharma, and Rahul Shetty leading the way, the campaign was positioned as a unique initiative wherein people can party and celebrate their milestones guilt-free while simultaneously looking after their health. Cult members could customize these parties based on their preferences. The campaign received extensive traction across social platforms by garnering over 2 Crore views on the launch video within hours.
Becoming the talk of the town, the #cultHouseParty campaign came as a reminder that fitness and fun can go hand-in-hand. Cultfit believes that one's lifestyle choices don't have to be limited to either/or options, as they show how one can bring fitness and fun together. So don’t shy away from eating that extra slice of cake or having another drink as long as you continue to enjoy your fitness journey the Cultfit way.
