Bigg Boss 4 Grand Finale takes No 1 spot with 6.7%: TAM

According to the latest TAM data Bigg Boss 4's Grand Finale an offering from channel Colors has gathered the highest rating. Placing itself as the number one across all GECs this week, the show enjoyed an amazing TVR of 6.7%. This reportedly being the highest closing for a reality show in the year 2010.

Talking about the stupendous performance of the show's grand finale, Ashvini Yardi, Head- Programming, Colors, said," We are ecstatic that Bigg Boss Season 4 finale has garnered a fabulous rating of 6.7 which is the highest ever rating marked for any reality show in the year 2010-11. Bigg Boss season 4 which started with a bang with Salman Khan as the host and an eclectic mix of contestants; has been received well by the audience right from its first episode. We are humbled by the viewers amazing response. This is indeed a very big motivation for us to push the envelope further and gear up for the next season with yet another set of interesting elements."

Colors this week too is placed at number two position across all GECs with an increased GRP (Gross Rating Points) and CS (Channel Share) of 296 and 21.1% respectivelycompared to last week's GRP of 283 and CS of 19.7%. This week except for the Bigg Boss 4 Grand Finale, other shows by the channel like Naa Aana Is Des Laado, Uttaran and Laagi Tujhse Lagan are placed at number 7, 9 and 10 respectively.

Star Plus is number 1 amongst GECs with a GRP and CS of 379 and 27.0% respectively. This time however only four shows from the channel's offering has made it to the top ten shows list. The shows from Star Plus which have been able to make it to the top shows' list are- Pratigya, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain, Sasural Genda Phool and Saathiya Saath Nibhana. Saathiya Saath Nibhana after having enjoyed the number one poisition for over three weeks until now has fallen to the fourth position with a reduced TVR of 5.7%.
