Binda Dey rejoins KKR as Chief Marketing Officer

Kolkata Knight Riders has appointed Binda Dey as its Chief Marketing Officer, KKR & Knight Riders Global Franchises. 

In her role, she will be responsible for all aspects of Marketing - Brand, Content, Digital, Licensing & Merchandising, for all the initiatives in Indian Premier League, Caribbean Premier League & USA Cricket as apart from IPL, KKR also owns cricket franchises in USA and West Indies.

Dey has over 17 years of consistent high performance in the marketing domain with leading media and entertainment companies - driving long-term growth and profitability. She has also been awarded by BBC Knowledge as the ‘Greatest Marketing Influencers of 2017’, Adgully as the 'Women Disruptor Marketing Head of 2020' and identified by Google as a 'Leading Woman in New Media'.

Before joining KKR, Dey was associated with Red Chillies Entertainment for more than five years and has managed relationships with talent, creative, production and distribution to align goals and drive campaigns.

Prior to this, she has worked with some of the well known brands like, KKR as Head of Marketing for one year, Star India for 8.5 years, Starcom Worldwide as Manager Media Planning & Buying - Digital for more than one year  & DDB Mudra Group as Account Supervisor, Digital for almost two years.
