Brands sent good vibes to Zomato for its IPO launch through social media

The very first day of Zomato's Initial Public Offering caught enough of traction from all the brands and neitizens on Wednesday. Within few hours of the launch, IPO became the 'only discussion topic' for all the brands across country and to express their excitement, most of them took to their social media with some relatable dialogues converting them into a meme material and congratulating Zomato with positive messages.

With no chilling on day one, Zomato got fully subscribed with its new IPO launch raising â‚¹4,195 crore from anchor investors. The awaited offer recieved bids for 75.60 crore equity shares against IPO size of 71.92 crore equity shares. The retail investors subscribed with 13% whereas employees portion was 18%. The retail investors subscribed 2.69 times the number of shares on offer and the qualified institutional buyers at 98%.
