Buckle Up for Crew: Turbulence-Free Ride of Laughs and Thrills

Ladies and Gentlemen, 

Welcome aboard the fun flight to Mallya land..oops Walia land.

The airline is named Kohinoor, not Kingfisher.

And is a front to smuggle gold wrapped in Ferrero Rocher!!

The Ekta Kapoor produced Crew blends the real life Vijay Mallya (named Walia here) airline bust with a fictitious heist planned by his airhostess trio to get even!! "Salary nahi, allowance nahi, aur yeh beti ki dhoom dham se shaadi kar raha hai", they fume.

No surprise, the film's biggest strength lies in its three female leads. Tabu in her '50s, looks elegant and turns in a super performance as always. She also goes bold with her cleavage show, something not done before!! Kareena Kapoor in her '40s, is still a radiant beauty with amazing screen presence and Kriti Sanon in her '30s, holds her own wonderfully in front of the two supremely talented seniors.

The male cast is mostly relegated to the sidelines and add no major value to the proceedings. Saswata Chatterjee as the airline owner Walia, is a bad casting decision. So is Kapil Sharma as Tabu's out of work husband.

Move aside males, Crew is all about girls having all the fun. And they surely do. No wonder, it was actually the ladies in audience at Movietime Starcity Cinema, Matunga who cheered and clapped the most. Viva girl power!!
