Doceree, the first global network of physician-only platforms for programmatic messaging, has reinforced its commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) by introducing a global company-wide initiative, involving a series of measures to build a cohesive environment for its employees spread across different markets.

The DE&I initiative bolsters Doceree’s diverse and inclusive work culture, opening up opportunities for people from different geographies, ethnicity, beliefs and gender. 

To champion the causes of DEI, it introduced a 5C model constituting ‘Comprehension, Compliance, Coaching, Commitment and Consolidation’. Under this, the following inclusions have been made to its governance program: 

Comprehension - Engaging with external DEI experts/champions to understand what all DEI compliance entails, and best practices around DEI. Thereafter baselining ourselves, and planning our DEI journey.

Compliance - Developing appropriate systems and policies to align ourselves to our DEI vision, structurally as well as behaviourally. E.g., tie up with recruitment partners who are committed to Diversity.

Coaching - Conducting training sessions around DEI, to build awareness. Making DEI training an integral part of our onboarding process. Coaching team members to recognize and overcome unconscious biases that creep into our day-to-day behaviours.

Commitment - Signing of a pledge by the entire Doceree family to formalize our commitment towards DEI . Consciously endeavouring to list out and exhibit inclusive behaviours within our teams.

Consolidation - Forming discussion forums to share our experiences and learnings around DEI. Creating a helpline for team members to call-out in case they observe a DEI non-compliant action/behaviour.
