Doodle collection hits ramp

Pantaloons, the leading retailer in India, in tandem with Vinod Chopra Films, India's number one boutique film house, has brought the outfits worn on the sets of 3 Idiots (designed by Aamir Khan himself- a first in cinema) by all those starring to the shopper's reach.

The ten hand-drawn Doodle shirts (drawn by Aamir himself), replicates of tees and garments and accessories worn on the sets have hit the stands. The Doodle shirts are quintessentially Amir and lets the consumer have a go at fashion while emulating the stars.

Apart from the Doodle shirts, replicates have been made of the Converse shoes used in the movie and will be sold through Planet Stores, part of the Pantaloon chain.

Facebook has a special virtual gift for all users of the site- a virtual doodle shirt and a virtual pair of Converse Shoes for each visitor to Pantaloon's Facebook page. According to Facebook designatories, this move enables Facebook to capture- and spread- the essence of kinship captured in 3 Idiots.
