Super Max ' Sha (r) ping Up!

Super Max India is expanding and is planning to increase its production to an extent of just doubling it. Super Max is the second largest razor blade manufacturer in the world and is now launching its global products in India.

The sites at Thane (near Mumbai) and Hyderabad that provides more than 1 crore units per day currently would be the ones responsible for production enhancement in next fiscal year.

The India business for the razor brand is managed by "Vidyut Metallics' that is governed by Mr. R K Malhotra. It owns 60 per cent market share for India sales for Super Max and is expecting a further increase in the same.

Malhotra said, "We currently hold a market share of 60 per cent by volume. We are confident that the introduction of a new range of products here will have a significant impact on the market scenario."

"We are currently enhancing our production capacities both in Thane and Hyderabad factories and planning to double the production in the next financial year as the demand currently exceeds supply," he added.
