Editor-in- Chief of Outlook Group, Vinod Mehta moves-on!

Vinod Mehta, of Outlook Group, has decided to call it a day as Editor-in- Chief after serving 17 illustrious years. He was the Editor-in-Chief of Outlook since its launch in 1995. However, he will continue with the group in an Advisory role.

Sources close to the development shared with Adgully, that, " Mr. Vinod Mehta would be playing the role of mentor and advisor at Outlook. The decision to get Vinod Mehta in advisory board was taken by the current core team at Outlook group."

Reportedly Krishna Prasad, the Editor of Outlook, will replace Vinod Mehta's position as the next Editor-in-Chief of Outlook Group.

Vinod Mehta had recently penned his autobiography, "Lucknow Boy: A Memoir', published by Penguin India. Apart from this, Mehta is also a popular face on television news channels appearing as a eminent political commentator.

During his time, Vinod Mehta has founded and edited numerous publications. Amongst them are India's first Sunday paper, The Sunday Observer; the now inoperative The Independent, Mumbai; and The Pioneer, Delhi. However he came into limelight for the controversial Debonair magazine.Vinod Mehta is amongst the senior most editors in the country.
