Genelia Unveils Ritesh's Early Morning Grind for Fitness and League

CCL Season 10’s fifth game, and the second of Sunday, is witnessing Ritesh Deshmukh’s Mumbai putting up a stellar performance over Kichha Sudeep’s Karnataka Bulldozers. In a fun interaction with the host Poppy Jabbal, Ritesh’s wife and actor Genelia says, “Ritesh is a very serious captain. In fact he was with us in the morning but after a while he had to be with the team. They have multiple team meetings and strategy meets. To practise for this year, Ritesh honestly used to wake up at 4 in the morning to work out and head to the cricket practice. I was really amazed to see this kind of dedication. I think this time the whole team tried a lot to practise together and that is kind of showing up in their performance.”

On being asked about which team she is supporting, Genelia said, “I am supporting every team because its Celebrity cricket and when we all are on the field its sports plus entertainment. It feels really good to see the league scale up over the years, I have evolved so much from being unmarried to married to being a mother.”
