GroupM appoints Rohit Suri as Chief Talent Officer for South Asia

GroupM today announced the appointment of Rohit Suri as Chief Talent Officer for South Asia. Suri joins on February 1^st, and will be based in Mumbai. He was previously the Vice President of Human Resources at People Interactive and will report to CVL Srinivas, CEO of GroupM South Asia and Angela Ryan, Chief Talent Office for GroupM APAC. Suri takes over from Gaurav Hirey, who is now based in Singapore with Millward Brown, another WPP company.

Rohit joins us from a consumer Internet company- People Interactive, where he was Vice President, Human Resources. Earlier in his career, he also held leadership roles at One97 Communications and Turner International. Having helmed HR teams in technology, internet and media companies – with 17 years’ experience in change management, business partnership and cultural integration roles, Rohit will be leading GroupM’s Human Resources and Talent Operations in South Asia.
