India Today Group strikes gold once again, predicts close-to-exact assembly poll results

The India Today Group, along with its partner Axis-My-India, has once again repeated the feat of correctly forecasting the outcome of the recent assembly elections.

• 288-326 seats for the BJP in Uttar Pradesh, closest to the final tally of 269

• 76-91 seats for the Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab, closest to the final tally of 92 seats
• 36-48 seats for the BJP in the Uttarakhand, accurate to the final tally of 48 seats amongst any other exit poll 
• 33-43 seats for the BJP in Manipur, closest to the final tally of 31
