Indian Ogilvy, BBDO topping the list of winners at AME Awards 2011

The prestigious Asian Marketing Effectiveness (AME) Awards 2011 have been declared. Ogilvy and Mather India and BBDO India are heading the list of winner's list along with seven and five medals. Mindshare, DDB Mudra, and Dentsu communications have also been successful in fetching one or two awards on an average.

AME Awards are the World's Most Effective Advertising„¢ was established in 1994 as a platform of recognition for creative and successful marketing strategies across all industry verticals.

Ogilvy India has won seven awards with three Golds and Silvers each and one Bronze.

The Gold awards included several categories like Breakthrough for entry titled "How ringing the bell can reduce violence against women', Most Effective Use of Advertising for Vodafone Essar for "BlackBerry Boys' and in the Best Insights/ Strategic thinking category for Cadbury Kraft India.

The Silver awards include Best Sustained Success for Bajaj Auto for Pulsar & Stunting: Creating India's best selling sports bike. Another for Hindustan Unilever for Dove - Damage Expert and Silver for HUL again in the Most Effective Use of Sponsorship and Event Marketing category for Project "Swasthya Chetna'

Cadbury's campaign "How we sold chocolate bars equaling more than 2.5 times the Great Wall' won a Bronze award as Best Integrated Marketing Campaign by ogilvy. An award-winning advertising campaign addresses a challenge in the marketplace, utilizes outstanding creative elements, and incorporates a thorough marketing plan to deliver a successful execution.

BBDO India has bagged five metals encompassing a Gold and Silver each along with three Bronze. It mainly comprises widely appreciated Gillette's W.A.L.S. (Women Against Lazy Stubble) campaign.

The Gold is won by BBDO for "Best Marketing Campaign' for National Brand Development for W.A.L.S. The Silver is for Best Integrated Marketing Campaign and three Bronzes under the categories of Most Effective Use of Public Relations; Best Ideas and Best Insights.

Aircel's campaign "Save our Tigers' won a Bronze award for Dentsu Communications and AME awards has rewarded DDB Mudra for Volkswagen under " Most Effective Use of Advertising'.

Mindshare India has been also awarded with one Silver and Bronze metals. The agency's most Effective Use of Interactive Marketing category for Idea Cellular has bagged one Silver award and the Bronze is for Hindustan Unilever's Dove.

The jury members for AME awards 2011 comprised of advertising honchos from Asia pacific, Europe, North & Latin America and also from middle east and Africa.
