Indian Social Infotainment App Garnered More than 100,000 Downloads

Indian social app Bolo Indya has garnered more than 100,000 users, and the number of its subscribers is increasing rapidly. In tenure of 12 months, Bolo Indya has been successful in accumulating close to 4.85 lakh users from more than 220 cities in India. Those who use the app spend more than 31 min per day on the platform and have consumed more than 95 lakh hours of video content. 61% of users on Bolo Indya earn more than INR 30,000. The app thus has a massive user base that has lots of spending power. Bolo Indya represents young Indians as 58% users of its users are in the 18-24 year age bracket.

1,18,000+ users have been creating video content on the platform. They have created more than 80 lakh videos in just 12 months since the platform was launched. Bolo Indya has a unique concept; users create only short videos, and the platform focuses on infotainment. The app allows users to create videos in which they share their knowledge and interests. They can share videos, chat with others, browse through feeds, discover services and avail services on the app. The app is available in ten languages - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Kannada, Gujrati, Malayalam, Kannada, Odia and English.
