Indian Society of Advertisers names Kurush Grant as Chairman, Executive Council

A new executive council has been elected by the Indian Society of Advertisers (ISA) for the year 2012-13. Kurush Grant, Executive Director, ITC, will now chair the council and replace Bharat Patel, Director of Yes Bank.
 
Earlier he was vice chairman at ISA  and has also been an active member of the council since the past 15 years. Now as Chairman, Kurush Grant has plans to hasten the formation of BARC.
In 2010 during his tenure as a Director on the board of ITC he oversaw their FMCG businesses, cigarettes, food, personal care, lifestyle retailing, education and stationery products,
Grant is also a member of the executive committee of the Indian Chamber of Commerce, Calcutta.   He has been chairman of the National Readership Studies Council as well as the Audit Bureau of Circulations, India.
 
The three vice-chairmen elected by ISA for 2012-13 include Bharat Bambawale, Director, Global brand, Bharti Airtel , N. Srikumar, Executive Director, CC and branding, Indian Oil Corporation and Ajoy Chawla, Vice-President and Global head, Titan and retail, Titan Industries They will be vice chairmen of the executive council for North, West and South regions respectively.
 
The other new appointments are that of Paulomi Dhawan, Director, Landmarc Leisure Corporation as Honorary Treasurer and Hemant Bakshi, Executive Director, HPC, Hindustan Unilever as Chairman, Media Committee.
