Insomniacs onboards Digvijay Chauhan as Chief Business Officer

In a bid to strengthen its leadership sphere, Insomniacs, India’s only real estate, data analytics, and technology network providing end-to-end sales & marketing solutions, has onboarded Digvijay Chauhan as Chief Business Officer (CBO) for its technical arm – Totality. At the company’s helm, Digvijay is responsible for managing business development, strategizing sales & marketing, and leading investor relations and fundraising. The brand is already witnessing unprecedented growth at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 92.5%, and with Digvijay onboard, this number is bound to accelerate further.

Digvijay has over a decade of experience leading nascent startups, tech-based product development, optimising brands’ value proposition, financial backing, and cutting-edge computer technology. He is also a serial entrepreneur and spent two solid years building startups revolving around DeepTech and Consumer Tech. He was the Founder and CEO of Dach Technologies and Founder-in-Residence at Entrepreneur First. His last startup was goDACH, a new-age travel content platform enabling users to discover avant-garde travel experiences through compact video content.

Before diving into the vast world of entrepreneurship and leading Totality, Digvijay worked with Airbus as Lead Engineer - Flight Physics for 8+ years, where he led several global initiatives and handled multi-cultural teams. His passion for technology is what led him to do a Masters at Purdue University, followed by a Research Assistantship at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research.

On this occasion, Govind Rai, Co-Founder of Insomniacs, said, "I've known Digvijay and his thirst for perfection since his days at GoDach. I can confidently claim that Digvijay brings to the table a plethora of proficiency, leadership, Machine Learning skills, and distinct product development expertise. He is a perfect fit and will play a vital role in Insomniacs' technical arm - Totality. With Digvijay on board, we can visualize expanding into international markets like the US and the UK in the coming years."

About this latest development, Digvijay Chauhan, newly appointed CBO of Insomniacs technical arm- Totality, said,  “Over the years, performance marketing has become synonymous with low CPL. It’s a derivation from e-commerce which works fine for most industries but not so much for RE. The sales funnel here is marred with many customer touch-points, majority of which are non-digital, thereby making it susceptible to heavy leakage. We at Insomniacs spotted this and built Totality to solve it. Quite frankly, Totality is destined to do for realtors what Shopify did for retailers: reduce CAC, make it super easy to sell, and enable exponential growth. I am thrilled about this new role in my professional life and hope to streamline the company’s efforts in the right direction.”

It is pertinent to note that last year Insomniacs recorded a revenue of over USD 1.2 million. The brand handled USD 1.77 million worth of digital media for its clients, which thrived at a CAGR of 92%. Furthermore, the overall brand's clientele saw a tremendous surge reaching over 120, with marquee names such as Hiranandani Group, K Raheja Group, Sotheby's India, Emaar India, and Berkshire Hathaway India.
