Kerala Tourism TVC bags Bronze at New York Festivals!

Kerala Tourism commercial won the Bronze World Medal for the cinematography of the movie, Your Moment Is Waiting. It was also awarded three finalist certificates at New York Festivals for Travel TV/Cinema Advertising, Film direction and music Score. This is an esteemed festival which recognizes and celebrates the world's best advertising annually.

It should also be noted that Your Moment Is Waiting is the only TV/Cinema advertisement from India that won anaward this year at New York Festivals.

Some of the other awards this films has been awarded includes Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) International Awards - three Gold Medals; a Bronze at the Berlin Golden Gate Awards, plus another Bronze at ABBY - Goafest, a Silver at PEPPER and a D&AD shortlist, to name a few.

Swarup B R, creative director of the film said, "We had a first hand experience of the impact of this three minute film when we premiered it in the Saatchi Gallery in London to a very exclusive audience in September 2010. They were mesmerized ' and in the next couple of months, 12 out of the 100 odd celebrity invitees holidayed in Kerala!"

The film takes you through this land, raw and refined, sensual and spiritual, flowing slowly, languorously, stirring memory with desire, the real with the surreal, leaving you quite certain that your moment is waiting out here, in Kerala, God's Own Country

"We have overcome the visual fatigue that had enveloped Kerala by presenting a layered destination soaked in art and culture that the traveler can keep on discovering", said Swarup.

Directed by Prakash Varma of Nirvana Films, the film had Haridas B as Art Director and K U Mohanan as the Cinematographer. The world-renowned Baaba Maal sang to music composed by Duncan Bridgeman and Jamie Catto of 1 Giant Leap, London.
