Yubaraj Bhattacharya quits Star Jalsha, joins Mahuaa TV
Yubaraj Bhattacharya, who phenomenally contributed to Star Jalsha's upward streak, has quit from the channel's Creative Director post. Bhattacharya will be joining Mahuaa TV as a Chief Executive Officer.
He will be responsible for all the channels which are so far on air and which includes Bhojpuri and Bangla news and general entertainment channels, he will also be handling new channel launches in the future.
The news was confirmed to Adgully by Nikhil Seth, President Ad-sales, Mahuaa TV, and he also said that Bhattacharya will be "joining in mid-November."
Before being a part of Star Jalsha, Bhattacharya was a part of the team which launched Star Ananda. He began his career as a media planner at Starcom and then moved into account management. Moreover, Bhattacharya has a year long experience in Black Magic Motion Pictures as its Head of Production House.
