Movies OK records 69 GRPs; launches 7 movie premiers over 7 days

Movies OK, the brand new channel from the STAR bouquet has within a week of its launch aroused a great amount of curiosity among audiences. Movies OK is the second movie channel from the STAR network after STAR Gold.

 

The barely one-month-old channel recorded 69 GRP’s last week. Not only this, it has managed to build up a reach of 39% since its launch. Despite Movies OK being launched in the highly celebrated IPL atmosphere, it has been able to maintain consistency in its growth. Interestingly, the three metros of Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata have contributed close to 34% to the overall ratings of the channel.

 

In order to strengthen its reach, Movies OK is all set to treat the viewers with unmatched 7 movie premiers over 7 days. 7 Days, 7 Premiers is a unique initiative by the channel wherein it will air recently released movies like Ek Deewana Tha, Jodi Breakers, London Paris New York and many more with a view to engage the audiences and keep them hooked to the channel. 7 Days, 7 Premiers will start from 28th May to 3rd June, 2012 every night at 9 pm.

 

The premiere of London Paris New York will mark the beginning of this new initiative. Movies OK will spice up Sunday with the highly acclaimed movie in the recent times viz. Kahaani.
