Pune gets 7th edition of Jagran's Cityplus

Jagran Prakashan has launched the 7th edition of Cityplus (Pune) in Wakad/ Pimple Saudagar on 30th July 2011. With this, the total count of Cityplus editions will be is 32 across Delhi/NCR, Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai and Hyderabad.

In a note sent to Adgully, the Group stated, "Wakad/Pimple Saudagar is one of the upcoming areas in Pune. The population consist mix of Old/Young, Marwadi/Gujarati, Higher Middle class people belonging to salaried/self employed segment. The area is highly potential for community news paper with series of eating joints/Hotels/retail outlets/Spa/Gym etc. for coverage. The area has lots of commercial establishment/Offices and is one of fast developing area of Pune. It is highly influenced by the nearby IT Hub ' Hinjewadi."

The edition will have a circulation of 35,000 copies, and will be circulated every Saturday/Sunday across residential and commercial establishments in Wakad and Pimple Saudagar. Apart from the new edition, the weekly community paper has editions in Kondhwa, Aundh, Deccan, Kothrud, Camp and Koregaon/Kalyani Nagar in Pune. With this launch, the total count of Cityplus editions will be 32, spread across Delhi and NCR, Bengaluru, Pune, Mumbai and Hyderabad

Cityplus is a free weekly community newspaper distributed, free of cost on Saturdays and Sundays.
