Rajiv Banerjee joins Piramal as the Group Head for Corporate Communications

Rajiv Banerjee, former Senior VP and Vertical Head – Corporate Communications at HDFC, has joined Piramal as the Group Head for Corporate Communications.

Banerjee has confirmed his appointment with Adgully.

Before joining Piramal, Banerjee was responsible for handling the corporate communication team of HDFC on reputation for strategic businesses and functions like digital banking, retail assets, CSR, corporate banking, branch banking, SLI, marketing, HR, and information security.

He has over nine years of experience as a reputation management expert at HDFC. He holds a law degree and is a seasoned strategic communication professional with well-rounded experience as a journalist in print, television, and digital for 15 years.

He is experienced in the corporate field as well as media. He previously worked with The Economic Times, Brand Equity, Financial Express, NetScribes, United Television (UTV), Hinduja Media, and Beacon Television.
