Reckitt Benckiser gears up social media initiatives; Offers youngsters the opportunity of lifetime
The opportunity can be won via a competition on RB's facebook site. And RB will cover the costs and donate funds to Save the Children, who organise the charity challenge activity.
Chander Mohan Sethi, Chairman and Managing Director (India) and Regional Director (South Asia), Reckitt Benckiser says, "RB has a unique culture that's most suitable for young professionals who enjoy freedom to act, coupled with a fast-paced and agile environment. By allowing people outside of RB to participate in a charity challenge showcases the spirit of our fast pace, challenging and dynamic corporate culture in a fun way. Giving people great opportunities and focussing on our charity agenda is important."
Participants in the competition are asked to compete against each other in a race to get votes for their entry. The highest scoring five contestants will get the charity challenge of their choice.
The Experience of a lifetime initiative is a continuation of the company's "Global Challenge' initiative setup in partnership with Save the Children. RB has recently completed their third global challenge in Brazil, where 65 dedicated employees from 34 countries trekked through the mountainous Chapada Diamantina region in Brazil raising £300,000 for Save the Children. "Once in a lifetime' will offer five winners a similar life changing opportunity by participating in their very own charity challenge.
