Republic TV eyes regional content, ties up with Vikatan Group

To further leverage onto the growing regional content, newly launched Arnab Goswami’s Republic TV has tied up with South India’s leading media house Vikatan group to get regional stories from Tamil Nadu.

Commenting on the partnership, Radha R Premkumar, Head - Brand Communications, Vikatan, said, “Vikatan group, with its 90 years legacy in Tamilnadu, is an household name among World Tamils. Vikatan is well known for its fearless and  independent, fair and unbiased journalism.”

Launched on May 6, Arnab Goswami’s independent global media venture, Republic TV, has topped the English News channels space in its first week of operations as per BARC data for Week 19 (May 6-12) [All India (U+R) : NCCS AB : Males 22+ Individuals] attaining 52 per cent viewership in the first week of its launch.
