Sakal gets LS Krishnan as Business Head

L S Krishnan has joined Sakal Media Group as the Business Head - Publications with effect from October 18th. Sakal Media Group is an independently owned media business in Maharashtra having a regional newspaper, magazines, internet publishing and a regional general entertainment channel.

Krishnan will now be responsible for the managing and improving the overall operations of the Publications from the Group and will also be involved in controlling the support functions such as HR, Finance & Events. He will be reporting to Mr. Abhijit Pawar

He is an Economics graduate with Masters in Marketing Management from JBIMS, Mumbai and has an experience of around 22+ years in media spanning sales, event management, client servicing and media buying. He has worked in various organizations such as Mudra Communications, Group M, The Times Of India Group.

Prior to joining Sakal, Krishnan was working with Mudra Max as President.
