Sakal Media Group appoints Shailesh Patil as Senior General Manager

Shailesh Patil has been brought on board as Senior General Manager at Sakal Media Group. He took charge from February 6, 2017. In his new role, Patil will report to Krishna Menon, Chief Marketing Officer, Sakal Media Group, and will be based out of the Pune office, where his work would include advertising, circulation and events for media business. 

Commenting on Patil’s appointment, Krishna Menon said, “I welcome Shailesh on board Team Sakal. With its consistent growth and robust future plans, Sakal is all set to take the business to the next level, and I am sure Shailesh’s experience will propel the same. I wish him all the very best for his new assignment.” 

Patil has over 20 years of experience across print media. Prior to Sakal, he had worked with Dainik Bhaskar Group as General Manager - Advertising Sales. Before that, he was with Sakal Papers for almost 12 years and quit the organisation as General Manager. He has also worked with Asian Age and Kalnirnay.
