Shalaka Kagathra joins HSBC as Head - Communications

Shalaka Kagathra has officially joined HSBC as Head- Communications.
She posted about her new job role on LinkedIn: “I'm happy to share that I've started my new innings as Head - Communications, India at HSBC. Looking forward to some exciting times ahead!!”

Shalaka has over two decades of experience across the entire gamut of marketing, corporate communications and PR.
Prior to joining HSBC, Shalaka has been associated with various financial institutions such as Edelweiss Financial Services as Sr VP & Group Head Corporate Communications, NCDEX as Vice President - Corporate Communications, and Prabhudas Lilladher Pvt. Ltd. as Corporate Communications. In her earlier days she has also worked as Manager- Marketing & Communications at IL&FS Investsmart Securities Ltd. (A HSBC Group Company).
