Shastri Sisters to replace Madhubala soon on Colors

Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon  one of the popular fiction series on Colors,  which completed  2 years last month is about to go off air soon. Madhubala produced by Abhinav Shukla of Nautanki Telefilms, has Drashti Dhami (Madhubala) and Vivian Dsena in the leads.

From the time of its launch in May 2012 the show picked up well but in recent times its TRP's declined, though different twists were introduced in the concept to make it interesting for the viewers.

Sources have confirmed the news saying, "Talks about show Madhubala going off air have been on since quite some time and yes it is going off air soon."

With Madhubala which is currently on air Monday- Thursday, 8:30 pm going off air, there's a high possibility of Shakuntalam Telefilms’ Shastri Sisters replacing the former effective next month.

As of now onscreen couple Vivian and Drashti are much involved in the show although Drashti has already bagged a new opportunity with Colors. She is currently seen hosting reality dance show Jhalak Dikhala Jaa 7 with Ranvir Shorey.

Adgully tried reaching out to Abhinav Shukla to know more details on the latest developments but was unable to elicit any comments from him.

It’s now time to stay tuned to Colors to know more about their new offerings on the anvil for their ardent viewers.
