Sr. management changes at R K Swamy Media Group/ Media Direction

Rao is back to R K Swamy, but this time as the President of R K Swamy Media Group / Media Direction. This news has been confirmed by senior sources within R K Swamy to Adgully. Rao started his career in media world after passing out from XLRI in 1974, he had worked in R K Swamy during his early days and then went ahead with the position of general management at O& M , Maa Bozzel and McCann. Later at McCann he took charge in of Universal MaCann moving from the creative agency to media.

He moved on to be the president of integrated communication at McCann world group, where he was responsible for the media, CRM and health care business. Later on he established himself in the role of CEO of India TV and then Times Global Broadcasting Co. Before joining and taking over the position of president in R K Swamy he was Vice Chairman of Times Global and an Advisor to Times Private Treaties.
