Sumit Walia quits Oppo India as VP of Product and Marketing

Sumit Walia, Vice President of product and marketing, has resigned from the post after a year with the Chinese giant. 

Walia was responsible for building and growing the brand. Before his tenure at Oppo, Walia also had stints with Samsung, Videocon, LG electronics and Huawei. 

According to media reports, Oppo India said in a statement, "Sumit Walia has decided to take the next step in his professional career and part ways with OPPO. We thank Sumit for his relentless service and leadership at OPPO India and wish him all the best for his future endeavours."
