Tremors at Times Television; Trigunayat quits!

Ajay Trigunayat CEO, TTN English Entertainment channels has put down his papers at the company. He is expected to move on from the group shortly. Sources close to the development inform that  henceforth all functions including HR, finance, distribution, legal, among others will be centralized and will now directly report  to M K Anand.

Plans are also on to appoint a network Sales Head for the English cluster viz. Movie Now & Romedy Now. Of late a major reshuffling at the network has been reported wherein on the marketing front, Shantanu Gangane is expected to head both Movies Now and Romedy Now while  the programming and content team will directly report to M K Anand.

Sources also reveal another development at the network which concerns business head Harsh Sheth. He too will be moving on from the network but will hold fort for the next few months. Sheth was earlier with Star India and handled varied Star properties including Star Gold, Star Movies, Star World, Star Pravah and Channel [V].

Earlier to his stint at TTN, Trigunayat was in the Middle East in an entrepreneurial venture , and has  been the business head of the Zee English Channels bouquet. He has also had stints in Sales at Lintas, Contract and Rediffusion and Pepsi.

Sources close to the development inform that both Trigunayat and Sheth were unavailable for comment on their latest respective movements.
