Twitter raises Blue Tick price to $11 for Apple users

In an effort to avoid Apple’s 30% payment tax and the possibility of being banned, Elon Musk will increase the price Apple users pay for the Blue Tick service.

Users of Twitter on iOS might have to pay $11 via the App Store, whereas the rest will just have to pay $7.

According to reports, Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, and Musk met to discuss the App Store tax issue. Shortly after, the Twitter owner tweeted that the issue had been fixed.

Musk had declared “war” on the App Store fee due to the 30% tax issue before Musk and Cook’s meeting.
The Introduction of the subscription service was originally scheduled for the first week of December, but it has now been postponed three times. Musk revealed that the updated service will also allow users to indicate their progress with coloured checkmarks.
