Universal Music launches DJ AQEEL's new album `Forever 2'

Universal Music today announced the launch of DJ AQEEL’s brand new album titled `Forever 2’.  Aqeel who has been one of the most sought after Indian DJ’s the world over and has been busy performing across the globe to packed audiences, has finally finished his brand new album – his first in 3 years.

With an unmistakable flair for re-inventing classic Bollywood tunes and turning them into monster party anthems, Aqeel achieved popularity with hits such as “Nahin Nahin’” and “Tu Tu Hai Wohi” where he retained the voices of Kishore Kumar and Asha Bhosle to pioneer a new phenomenon that took over the party scene in India in the mid-90s. Since then he has consistently produced hits that include his versions of “Kehdo Tumhe”, “Mein Hoon Don” and “Disco`82” which became club anthems and a must on every DJs play list.

What’s worth noting is that his best work was on Universal Music (then PolyGram) with who he is now back with for his latest album `Forever 2’ that’s preceded by the lead single/ video “Kya Dekhte Ho” featuring the voices of Babul Supriyo and Vaishali Samant.
