WPP names Wendy Lund as chief client officer for health and wellness

Less than two years after moving to an in-house role, Wendy Lund, the former GCI Health CEO, is set to return to agency life as the chief client officer of WPP, for health and wellness. In her new role, Lund will look after WPP’s work, in support of health and wellness clients and will be reporting to Lindsay Pattison, the chief client officer of WPP.
Over the past two years, Lund spent time leading communications for Merck spinoff Organon, committed to advance women’s health. After serving a decade at the WPP agency, CGI Health, Lund started in Organon in January 2021. Under the supervision of Lund, GCI Health reached over 300 people globally from 30 people, with 16 offices which include an Asian footprint and a fast-growing European operation. Lund was succeeded by Kristin Cahill, GCI’s North American president, as the global CEO. CGI ranked among the 30 largest PR firms in the world, with a valuation of $127 of annual revenue as of 2020.
